Autofill the customer name when capturing signatures

This guide will walk you through the steps to enable the option to automatically fill in the customer name when capturing signatures in the mobile app.

Enabling ‘Autofill signature name’

This setting must be enabled for the entire account on the desktop side of Stream.

  1. In the main menu, click ‘Settings’
  2. Click the ‘Mobile App’ tab in the sidebar
  3. Scroll down to the ‘Signature Options’ section
  4. Check the box to enable ‘Autofill signature name’
  5. Click ‘Save’

Now, when a driver progresses to the signature screen whilst capturing proof of delivery, the ‘Name’ field will be automatically populated with the customer’s name.

If you are an account admin and do not have access to the ‘Settings’ screen, please contact Stream Support to request access.
