The Turn GPS app uses certain information from the vehicle in Stream to ensure that drivers aren’t routed on roads that are unsuitable for the vehicle.
It is important that the following details are accurate for the vehicles that will be used by the drivers that use Turn, this information can be updated in the Vehicle Details screen after selecting the relevant vehicle:
- Gross Vehicle Weight
- Max Axle Weight
- Length
- Width
- Height
The weights should be in kilograms, the dimensions should be in metres.
Please Note if using trailers:
You will need to assign both a vehicle and trailer to the runs in Stream if you want Turn GPS to take the dimensions of both into account. If both resources are assigned to the run, then for the dimensions, it will combine the length of both the vehicle and trailer together, and will use the largest out of the two for heights & widths.
