What is the Order Monitor in Stream?

The Order Monitor is an output-only view that displays live delivery and collection information for all planned orders on a given date.

It provides live tracking information for in-progress deliveries and is commonly used by both planning and customer service teams to quickly review estimated times of arrival.

How do I access the Order Monitor?

The Order Monitor can be accessed directly by going to Menu > Order Monitor.

If the Order Monitor does not appear in your menu, it means your profile does not have the required permissions to view it.

If you require access to the Order Monitor, you can contact your system administrator, who will be able to grant you access from inside Custom Settings on your profile.

Please Note

If you are a multi-depot user, the Order Monitor will show orders based on the depots currently selected in the depot select dropdown at the top of the screen.

Quick filter based on status

As drivers complete drops, the ‘Order Status’ column updates automatically alongside the visual scorecard metrics at the top of the screen.

Clicking directly on any scorecard tile (e.g., ‘Failed’) instantly filters the order list below to show only the orders belonging to that specific category.

  • Completion Status Scorecards: Summarises total orders categorised as ‘Completed’, ‘Failed’, ‘Completed with Issues’, or ‘Part Complete’.
  • On-Time Performance Scorecards: Orders are marked as ‘On Time’ if delivered within the planned delivery slot; otherwise, they are marked as ‘Early’ or ‘Late’. Percentage scorecards display overall delivery performance at a glance.

Please Note

You can combine filters for the completion status (Total, Completed, Failed, Completed with Issues, Part Complete, or Outstanding) with an on-time performance status (On Time, Early, Late) to refine the list. You can also combine filters in the standard search box with the quick filters at the top of the screen to refine the list.

Filtering and searching orders

By default, the Order Monitor will show orders planned for today’s date. However, you can use the search parameters to view historic or future dates, or to narrow down the displayed results:

  1. Click the ‘Search’ button in the top-right corner of the screen
  2. Apply your required search filters (e.g., date, order status, delivery run, vehicle, driver, order number, customer name, or postcode)
  3. Click ‘Search’ to refresh the view

Please Note

To clear any active search filters, simply click ‘Search Active’ at the top of the page.

Understanding live order updates and ETAs

The Order Monitor automatically refreshes every 30 seconds to provide live tracking updates from active drivers out on the road, however you can force a refresh anytime by clicking the timer at the top-right of the screen.

If you have a high volume of orders, the screen will automatically toggle through pages (which can also be navigated manually using the arrow icons at the top of the screen).

Orders are listed in chronological order with the earliest ETA displayed first.

  • Prior to run departure: The screen displays the planned delivery slot alongside estimated arrival and departure times for each drop.
  • During an active run: ETAs update dynamically based on the driver’s progress.
  • Viewing revised timings: Toggle the ‘Show Revised Times’ switch at the top of the screen to replace the planned ETA columns with revised estimated arrival and departure times.

Viewing order details and exporting data

Viewing or replanning orders

Double-click any order row in the list to open its full ‘Order Details’ window. This allows you to quickly review order events or replan a failed delivery.

Exporting data

Click the ‘Export’ button at the top of the screen to download the currently displayed Order Monitor data into a spreadsheet format, for external reporting.
