Stream Go and Sage 50 can be integrated in two key ways:

What are Stream Go & Sage 50?

Stream Go lets you easily manage collections & deliveries, with features like:

Sage 50 manages invoicing and financials.

Why use Stream Go and Sage 50?

By integrating Sage 50 and Stream Go, you can:

  • Reduce the rekeying of information: To save time and money
  • Make information more accurate: As data is only keyed in once, the risk of human error is minimised
  • Speed up the transfer of information & reduce time spent on paperwork: There is no more waiting for information to be manually entered. as it is transferred between systems automatically

At the end of the day, you’re cutting out the need to enter data twice – removing both the resource cost and the risk of human error.

How does the integration with Sage 50 work?

Stream Go integrates with either Sage 50 or Sage Business Cloud Accounting.

Stream Go integrates with Sage in one of two ways:

  1. For businesses whose orders are first recorded via Sage, the order can then be pushed into Stream Go for delivery processing (for example, when taking sales orders)
  2. For businesses whose orders are first recorded via Steam Go, the order can then be pushed into Sage for invoicing (for example, where its a logistics movement order)

Sage 50 to Stream Go – creating Sage orders in Stream

Why push orders from Sage 50 into Stream Go?

This option is often used by businesses delivering the goods that they sell – either B2B or direct-to-consumer.

It allows you to take the orders that are entered into sage (either manually keyed in, or via channels like Amazon, eBay, Magneto or Shopify) and push the information straight through to Stream Go, to plan and implement the delivery process.

By integrating Sage 50 into Stream Go, businesses streamline the order-to-delivery process, giving customers a smoother delivery experience.

How to push orders from Sage 50 into Stream Go

  • A Sage exporter program is installed on the computer containing the Sage data
  • The Sage exporter programme can be configured to export any ‘Sales Order’ or ‘Invoice’ that has been recently modified or created
    • Additional conditions are also available, for example, if the invoice is pro-forma or contains a certain customer then it can be excluded from the export
  • The Sage exporter programme will generate and export a file which Stream will process and import
  • The orders will be available in the Stream Go order list with a status of unconfirmed
