In Stream it’s possible to create a report that exports vehicle defect data as an XLS file.
You can create two different types of defect exports in Stream:
- Individual vehicle defect report
- All vehicles defect report
Both of these reports provide the following data:
- Vehicle registration
- Defect No
- Logged Date
- Logged By
- Defect details
- Severity
- Status
- Resolution Date
- Est. Resolution Date
- Resolved By
- Resolved Text (Notes)
- Latest Defect Note
Individual Vehicle Defect Report
The ‘Individual Vehicle’ defect report will only export defect date specific to the selected vehicle.
Step 1: Go to Vehicle Details
From the main menu in the top right hand corner of Stream, go to the ‘Vehicle Details’ screen.
Step 2: Select the Vehicle
In the ‘Overview’ module on the left hand side, select the vehicle you’d like to run a defect report for
Step 3: Export the Defect Data
In the ‘Vehicle Defects’ module in the middle column, click ‘Export’ to generate your report.
This will open a download window for you to choose where to save your data export.
All Vehicles Defect Report
The ‘All Vehicles’ defect report will export defect data for all vehicles in your Stream account. If you have selected a specific depot, then only defect data for vehicles at that depot will be exported in the report.
Step 1: Go to Vehicle Details
From the main menu in the top right hand corner of Stream, go to the ‘Vehicle Details’ screen.
Step 2: Change the dropdown to ‘Defects View’
In the ‘Overview’ module on the left hand side, click the ‘Vehicles View’ dropdown menu and change this to ‘Defects View’
Step 3: Export the Defect Data
With the defects view selected, you’ll see a list of all the defects recorded against the vehicles you have in Stream.
Click the export button to generate your report.
This will open a download window for you to choose where to save your data export.
