Trainee/Junior Software developers
We are looking to recruit trainees/junior software developers to join our team to help support our continued growth.
About the role
An exciting opportunity for motivated individuals wanting to undertake training in software development and engineering to develop skills and gain practical, hands-on experience in the IT and logistics industry in the following areas:
- Programming in HTML, PHP, Javascript and RPG
- Database design and development on SQL and DB2
- Responsive web and mobile applications
- Application testing
- Providing ongoing technical and functional customer support
Experience
For trainee roles, no specific experience is required and training will be provided. Applications are welcomed from individuals who can demonstrate a passion for programming. We also welcome applicants from other industries looking for a change of career or a fresh start.
Experience of PHP, SQL or Web and mobile application development would be required for the junior roles.
Those selected for the next stage in the process will be asked to complete an aptitude test.
This is a full-time role with a starting salary of £18,500 – £25,000 per year depending on experience.
