Stream Go
Stream Go is a logistics & transportation management system for businesses managing deliveries & collections in their own fleet. Plan & optimise routes, collect electronic proof-of-delivery & communicate with customers in real-time. The latest addition to Stream Go is a resource schedule for more efficient fleet utilisation.
Resource Schedule
We recently added a visual resource schedule as part of Stream Go. The schedule allows planners to get a really simple, at-a-glance overview of the availability of every resource in a calendar: drivers, vehicles and planned runs.
This visual overview means planners can quickly see who and what is available at any time – and assign runs to drivers and vehicles accordingly – without having to leave the advanced planning page.
This streamlines the planning process, so it’s easy to make the most effective use of resources.
Stream Check
Stream Check fleet & asset maintenance management system, helps businesses manage defects through to resolution & keep your vehicles and assets on the road and operational. The application includes a walkaround check app, defect reporting and management, automated maintenance & booking schedules, and driver, vehicle & asset management. In the latest release of Stream Check extends its checks and inspections capabilities, so you can use the app in more user cases.
Pass-only checks
You can now add ‘pass-only’ checks to your walkaround checks and inspections. Pass-only checks don’t require a pass / fail but instead act as a record. You could, for example, set ‘check fuel level’ as a pass-only check, so the driver has to check & record the fuel level before departing.
Recording notes & photos against non-defect checks
You can also allow, or require, drivers to add notes and photos to every check, even if there isn’t a defect. This gives drivers a way to prove that the check was completed and that the vehicle is roadworthy.
Stream Check’s walkaround check app is completely customisable, so it can be used in any number of applications:
- Standard daily HGV pre-use checks
- Daily checks on smaller vans & grey fleet
- Checks between shifts, after breaks or at the end of the run
- More in-depth inspection checks to be carried out weekly or monthly
- Pre-use checks on tools, plant, machinery or any other items that need to be checked before use (particularly for equipment that falls under LOLER or PUWER requirements)
- Additional checks to ensure drivers have things like PPE or assembly tools – things that aren’t directly part of the vehicle, but which the driver or operator need in their job
This update gives you even more ways to tailor the walkaround to suit your own business needs and operations.
